In my ongoing quest to keep myself honest, here's another piece of music I wrote. This one I started over a year ago, but then put down for a while. I think it really wants to be a lot longer piece—maybe one day.

I really like this one, the movement is lively and airy.

Hi Dave, this is really lovely! I especially like the contrast in volume and speed to change the emotion of the track.. it sounds like a proper classical piece as it tells a complete story highs and lows!
I am also a musician and a Ruby (C/C#/Web) developer! :)
I have played guitar for 13yrs now.. here is my site:
Keep up the good work! (Ruby and the Music!!!)

Very interesting piece (and good). I like the flow, the pauses, the hint of atonality, the tension built up right near the end and then a few solitary notes to end coming in as the last of the tension still hangs under sustain.

I listened to your lovely piece while initially reading your post about "Shoulda used this earlier". This made for a very pleasant experience. I very much enjoyed it.

Reminds me a bit of the Microcosmos by Bartok. Very nice.
