In my ongoing attempt to keep myself honest, here's another piece I wrote, again played by Mike Springer. I'm not sure how to categorize this one—I wanted to play around with 7/8, and ended up with what I think are some interesting patterns. Anyway...
And here's the music

Interesting piece. I think this was one I tried to sight-read at your place and I was murdering it. Mike does a great job with the phrasing, which really brings out the ideas in the composition. It hits me more in the head than the heart ... but bears repeated listening to see what a little familiarity does with it.

Enjoyed listening. On a first listen it seemed reminiscent of both Debussy and Stravinsky -- quite an interesting mix! Very pretty repeated motif throughout.

Very pretty. I noticed you have a typo on the top line in measure 14. The Eb should be an 1/8th note. I'm a trumpet player and was following the treble clef and noticed it.
