Following on from his successful Ruby blogging contest, Pat Eyler just announced a new monthly competition. He's inviting people to blog a tutorial or article about Erlang. Winners receive a copy of Programming Erlang.

Nice contest, but... I need the copy of Programming Erlang to learn enough to write my copy-winning article! If I promise to write the best one, can I get one in advance? ;-)

Hmm, I'll need to update my blog post a bit.
You should be able to write any introductory to intermediate tutorial about erlang or tools around erlang for your entry. If you want to take a look at the Table of Contents for the book, you could always look here:

Alternatively, you could buy the beta (pdf only) and look forward to getting a hard copy once you've written your prize winning entry.

Well, yes I could, but then the financial risk of not winning the contest would be on my shoulders, not your or the pragmatic programmers!
What do you mean "That's just fair"? :-)
