Hi Dave,

thank you for this great tutorial. It worked very well for me as long as I was running on Rails 1.2.6.
Lately I upgraded to Rails 2.1.2 and suddenly I cannot set the primary_key value any more. There is no error coming up, but the rails model doesn't set or get the id value. Did you run into that problem as well? If yes do you know a solution?
I have to add that I am using the DBI lib and Oracle as a database for the external connection.
